Creation of Urban Community Gardens
Urban Community Gardens bring many positive things to an urban community. An urban community garden is a garden that a community makes on a piece of land and all help take care of it while all receiving the benefits of it. A garden can bring, fresh food and herbs for cooking to a community if well maintained. The garden also helps the community work as a whole together to reap rewards, this helps build a strong sense of community which can help an urban area.
Trees and Shrubs
Weeping Willow (Scientific Name: Salix Baylonica) I like this tree people I relate it with water and swamps, when I go fishing back home I see these all the times and usually hanging over the water and casting under these usually leads to catching a fish
Yoshino Cherry (Scientific Name: Prunus Yedoensis) I enjoy this particular tree because of its vibrant color of pink he mask off. No body can be walking down the road in between some Yoshino Cherry's and be upset, its a soothing tree.
Crepe Myrtle (Scientific Name: Lagerstroemia Species) I immediately recognized this tree because when i was little my grandmother had two of these planted in her from yard, and my brother and i got in trouble all the time because we would try and climb them (apparently that's not okay)
Last but not least the Southern Magnolia (Scientific Name: Magnolia Grandiflora) I absolutely love the flower that is produced from this, each year my father would give my mom some of these because this is her favorite flower. Not to mention it puts off a wonderful aroma.
Favorite Place on Earth
This image is of my favorite place in the entire world! This is Blue Lagoon Island and it is part of the Bahamas, I visited this island last December on my first cruise and instantly fell in love. Let me just start of by saying you can only access the island by boat and on the boat that takes you to the island they supply all riders with beer! Once I got there it was the most beautiful place in the world there were dolphins swimming around, and a specific place to interact with all sorts of animals! There were bars scattered about the island, along with food stations. The water is crystal clear, the people are friendly and there are hammocks hanging from everywhere! I have dropped a pin in the middle of the water because this is where there is a fun obstacle course for people on the island to play with. There is a small path on the island I made that is from the water to the bar because I was usually walking back and forth between those two places. May I add that the "Bahama Mamas" they make there are not only delicious they are pure alcohol so watch out! The polygon I added represents where the dolphins swim freely and interact with all the people who want to swim with them!
