Soil Found In Georgia: Tifton (Ultisol

The most recognized soil in Georgia is Ultisol because it covers over 2 million acres of land in the state. This soil is also rich for farming which most Georgia farmers take advantage of.

Micaceous Schist:

Micaceous Schist is a metamorphic rock, its most noted and differentiated from other foliated rocks because of the actual size of the mineral crystals it has inside it. Over half of this interesting rock is made up of tabular and other minerals with large coarse, which can been seen by the naked eye. Although the crystals in the Schist are larger than those in slates they are not as large as the crystals in gneisses. The rock can come in many different collars such as green, silver, brown and grey.
