Bio-diesel

First let me start out by saying what is needed to produce bio-diesel because im not the biggest supporter of this resource. If one wants to make Bio-diesel they will need used vegetable oil, lye, methanol, and water. Biodiesel is a new fad that has been a topic of debate since the election of obama instead of drilling into US soil and using our own oil that we have a large abundance of, we are making a new renewable resource, to replace our need for real diesel fuel. Biodiesel can be used in normal diesel engines, this can be used to and blended with real diesel if need be. Many people coin the production of bio-diesel as great for the environment, creating jobs, and decreasing our dependency on foreign oil; what they do not realize is that with the production of bio-diesel it raises the prices of normal goods that Americans need and buy on a regular basis. Such as bread and other grain foods and drinks, this inflation is not helping the lower class people who need these products to stay cheap so they can buy them on the regular and live. What most Americans do not know is that we have a large abundance of our own oil here in the states but we will not drill for it because, it is in fact not the best thing for the environment if done incorrectly or not monitored (ex: BP oil spill in the Gulf)
